The Intern Memo is an editorial site and newsletter and we take our mission very seriously. We don’t want anything getting in the way of our readers interning their little hearts out.
As part of keeping you up to date on how to be the very best intern you can be, we will spend time and effort finding the coolest places to go, things to do and grueling exercises intended to increase your mental acuity while running Excel models. So rest assured, no one can pay us to be featured as an editorial story on Intern Memo. If we sold out, we are well aware that our recommendations wouldn’t have the same legitimacy, integrity, humor and utility—plus we’d be sellouts.
We will also NEVER sell our subscriber list. That’s a promise.
But (and here’s the but), since we’re a free newsletter, the only way we make money is by selling advertisements, so on occasion, we will send out “dedicated” emails on behalf of sponsors. These will be clearly marked and the subject line will say “Dedicated Intern Memo” and when we send one of these bad boys out, it’s payday at the Intern Memo.
